Club Anya Sketch #4 - 80s Anya
Here is my card for Club Anya & Friends Sketch #4. You can find this fun blog here. They have lots of challenges and fun inspiration. The little heart punch is Martha Stewart. I added a button on top. I bought that punch last year and never used it - so I definitely will be using it for cards this year! Pattern paper is Basic Grey again. I am going to start using up my BG papers so I can buy more! They have so many new beautiful lines coming out I can't keep up :). Have a great day!

Monochromatic 80s Anya
A quick card for Valentine's Day. I am late - it's already February! :) This is 80s Anya from The Greeting Farm. She's so fun. Her hair presented such a problem - I really had a hard time coloring this. All the waves and I was so confused on where to shadow and highlight. I sort of gave up lol ! The sentiment is a $ stamp from Michaels. The pattern paper is Basic Grey. I paper pieced her bow and outfit. Love that technique!
I am playing along with the TGF monochromatic challenge. If you have TGF stamps you should really play along here!

Sending Sunshine

Just got this sweet stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps . She's quite adorable - her name is Posy. The sketch is from Sketch Saturday #87 (I added their logo on the right of my blog). I need to play along with challenges since I haven't been making cards too much lately and it's been really hard to get the creative juices flowing :) The pattern paper is Basic Grey Urban Prairie. It's one of my favorites of theirs. Actually I love all Basic Grey paper!

Quick Wedding Card

Here is a quick card I made for a friend's wedding. The dress, glasses and hearts are stickers from K&Co. The pattern paper is Cosmo Cricket Everafter. I only bought 2 different pieces from my LSS. I wish I had bought more! The sentiment is from Inkadinkado. Thanks for looking!

Merry Kissmoose

This cute moose is from Kim Hughes Collection Christmas Critters. He's adorable! I made 3 for family and friends so I could use big buttons and ribbons. I cased Thinking Inking's adorable card here. Seeing Debbie's card probably forced me to buy this set :) The sentiment is really funny too. I had to have it because of that! All the pattern paper is Basic Grey - Wassail line.

Colorful Birds

A few more cards from the bird series! I haven't been stamping much so for my holiday cards I was playing around and ended up making unique cards for everyone. I don't think I made 2 the same. I did end up only using 3 main images - the birds, the cityscape and a CHF set, which I'll post later. I had fun coloring in these birds with Copic markers though. Still need to get better at the shading. Anyhow, I'm still on vacation!
Thanks for looking and hope you are enjoying the last days of 2009!

Cityscape Cards with Santa

Here are cityscape cards with Santa! I saw a lot of cards that looked so pretty with the silhouette Santa in a sleigh that I had to copy it. I think it looks so fun! I'm actually on vacation now so I don't have time to write down the details. If anyone has any questions about the products I used, I'd be happy to share! Thanks for looking!

Cityscape Series

I started making holiday cards very late this year. I was sick and lazy :). I did a few with this A Muse cityscape stamp. I embossed with silver embossing powder, which comes out nicely. I forgot to buy silvery paper so had very little left.
Stamps: CHF Christmas Critters (sentiment), A Muse Cityscape
Ink: PTI Enchanted Evening
Paper: PTI
Other: Cuttlebug Embossing folder, ribbons, Spellbinders Labels, Martha Stewart Snowflake punch
Happy 1 Baby!

This is for a very special little 1 year old boy! I had fun making this card for him. Used a fun alphabet stamp set. I stamped them on colored paper and cut each letter out. I popped them up on pop dots, which is hard to see here. Sorry for the bad photo, it was taken in artificial light.
Stamps: CHF Bear Hugs, Hero Arts Birthday
Paper: PTI Ocean Depth, Bazzill, DCWV
Other: Studio Calico alphabet stamp set, brads, twine
